Global security expertise meets intensive professional training at a dedicated campus near Bucharest, welcoming participants from around the world.
BUCHAREST, RO / ACCESS Newswire / October 29, 2026 / Nexus Praesidium announces the international expansion of Nexus Praesidium Academy, a professional security training platform based at its campus in Snagov, near Bucharest, and created for participants seeking intensive preparation in close protection and specialist security operations.
The Academy is now positioning Romania as a destination for international close protection and security training, welcoming candidates and professionals from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, the Americas and other international markets.
At the heart of the project is Raffaele Citrigno, founder of Nexus Praesidium SRL and a Close Protection Officer with approximately 30 years of experience, study and professional preparation.
His international background includes leadership and protection assignments connected with major film productions such as Fast & Furious X, Mission: Impossible and James Bond 007, security work for NBCUniversal around the Milano Cortina 2026 Games, and assignments involving leading names within the Italian luxury and fashion industry.
Today, that experience becomes the foundation of an international training programme designed to transfer real-world knowledge to the next generation of protection professionals.
14 Days. One Intensive International Experience.
The flagship 14-day Nexus Praesidium Academy programme is designed as an immersive professional experience combining theory, practical exercises, scenario-based preparation and operational discipline.
Training draws on multiple areas of specialist expertise, including close protection, tactical operations, weapons handling, CQB, tactical medicine, hostile-environment protection, maritime security, self-defence, risk awareness and panic management.
The programme is delivered by an international team of experienced specialists.
Antonio Di Nardo serves as Team Leader and Director Instructor.
Nikolas Ababei and Jean Khalil bring specialist weapons expertise, with Khalil also specialising in tactical medicine and protection in hostile environments.
Vincenzo Zito specialises in CQB, Andrea Gasparini in maritime security, and Ionel Cringuș in self-defence and panic management.
Train in Romania. Prepare for the World.
Located in Snagov, just outside Bucharest, the Nexus Praesidium Academy offers international participants the opportunity to train in a dedicated environment while gaining exposure to methodologies developed through decades of operational experience.
The Academy targets aspiring and active Close Protection Officers, private security professionals, executive-protection personnel and individuals seeking advanced professional preparation for international security environments.
It also creates opportunities for security companies and organisations worldwide seeking specialised training programmes for their teams.
The vision extends beyond individual courses.
Nexus Praesidium aims to develop its Romanian campus into an international hub for professional protection training, bringing together instructors, operators and participants from different countries and professional backgrounds.
