Visit to Boiling Spring Campground included conversations about the Gasconade River, outdoor recreation and local history.

Dixon, MO – October 26, 2026 – David Lowe, managing partner of the Lowe Dreesen Miller Law Firm, welcomed Missouri Lt. Governor David Wasinger during an October 15 visit to Pulaski County that included a tour of Boiling Spring Campground near Dixon.

Lowe and his wife hosted Wasinger at their home before Lowe accompanied him to the nearby campground. State Representative Bill Hardwick and local residents also joined the visit.

At Boiling Spring Campground, Wasinger viewed the Gasconade River from the boat ramp and toured the camper store, indoor meeting room and recreation area. The property sits along the Gasconade downstream from its confluence with the Big Piney River. Conversations covered floating, fishing, farming and local history.

Campground owner Larry Helms joined the visit and showed Wasinger antique tools from his private collection.

Lowe described the visit as “a great opportunity to share the natural beauty of the Gasconade River, and discuss floating, fishing, outdoor recreation and the local history of Pulaski County.”

Lowe’s involvement in the visit follows decades of professional and civic service in the area. He has practiced in downtown Waynesville since 1997 and served as the city’s municipal court judge. He also previously served as president of the Waynesville–St. Robert Chamber of Commerce, which recognized him as its 2017 Citizen of the Year.

According to Lowe, Wasinger’s Pulaski County itinerary also included a basic training graduation at Fort Leonard Wood and a speaking appearance at a Republican fall dinner that evening.
